Roof Repairing and Repainting Works for St. Anthony's Church

Built in 1953, St. Anthony's Catholic Church is a Grade 2 Historic Building in Hong Kong serving the worshipers with great architectural, aesthetic and historical significance. Due to increasing use of the church, more facilities are in demand to fulfill current needs and safety standards; while repairing work is also required to protect the integrity and authenticity of the historic building. Tai Kong Construction is responsible for repairing works of the church, which mainly include: roof repairing, repair damaged finishes and windows with fine craftmanship, renovate defective drainage system and repaint external walls. To honour the originality of the church, detailed site survey was completed to analyse the existing condition of the building materials, such that new plaster and paint applied were compatible to the original.
